Visit from a colleague

Today my good friend Anders (ASM) payed me a visit. It was nice to meet a radio colleague and discuss various topics in the field of radio. If you live where I live you don't have to many dx-ers in the vicinity so these kinds of visits are far apart, and most welcome.
Anders did not visit me to be nice, he had an ulterior motive, namely to borrow my SDR-14 :-). He will test it for a week or so, let's wait and see if he also decides to buy one.

PowerMate

I have fitted my SDR-14 with a VFO knob. My good friend Peder (PES) told me about the PowerMate USB Multimedia controller from Griffin Technology. I installed it and it worked just fine. Now I can change frequency and toggle between demod/center frequency by using this little gadget.
